REMOTE GROUP CRANIOSACRAL ENERGY SESSION - 21ST FEB 2019 - HEART FOUR

FOCUS BLOOD CIRCULATION
I'd like to start this next session by focus on our blood circulation itself, the structures involved, heart, lungs and blood vessels, and on what actually moves our blood around. I've been re-reading Dr Thomas Cowan's brilliant book, "Human Heart, Cosmic Heart" again and I can't recommend it highly enough whether you're just interested in how our bodies work or whether you have a heart condition yourself - he's brilliant on treating heart disease.

One of the basic ideas of the book is that the heart isn't a pump. It's not designed that way and it wouldn't be powerful enough to do all the work involved in driving your blood around the several mile journey of your circulatory system, (which if flattened out would have the area of a football pitch). Also, our blood flow slows to halt at it's destination in the capillaries, then starts up again, so what drives that?
Cowan explores the ideas that blood is drawn through our vessels by their liquid-attracting nature and by a natural life force energy, while the heart is a vortex generator. I'm still getting my head round it all myself, but I find the group sessions are great in helping to understand ideas like these.
I'd also like to focus into the patterns of flow within our blood because as well as these vortices I feel there are a whole range of rippling, shimmering effects, some darting quickly along, some flowing very slowly.
And I'd also like to focus on how our breathing in and out is balanced so beautifully by the natural world, our blood's haemoglobin balanced by plants' chlorophyll, in a harmonious exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide.
Have a great session wherever you are, I'm always fascinated to read your feedback, especially if you have felt treatment helping in a particular structure.
