APRIL FOCUS - BLADDER MERIDIAN

This month's focus is the Bladder Meridian, in our year-long journey through the energy channels of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The channel itself starts at the end of the Small Intestine meridian at the inner corner of the eye, and runs up over the head. A branch splits off here and enters the brain, the main branch splits into two at the neck, running down the back, legs and the outer side of the foot to the tip of the small toe.

FREE REMOTE GROUP SESSION COMING UP 28th MARCH
We've covered a lot of ground already this year in our journey through the meridian cycle, I've learned loads already and it's opened up whole new avenues to explore in both remote and hands-on work. So for this next session I'd just like to pause for a moment, and take some time to reflect, process, digest and integrate everything.

It's very beautiful up in our local woods now that Spring is well under way - woods that are all the better for being not very much managed.

And not just integrate everything within our own personal being but within our place in the world and the web of all Earth life.

THE SOUL SWIMS IN THE CEREBROSPINAL FLUID

I've been having the most amazing time since moving back to Perth, meeting old and new therapy friends and exploring new ways of working with people, exploring new realms of CranioSacral Therapy and Energy Work in both the remote and hands-on way. The core of it all has been listening to patterns within flow, that is the flow of any fluid: air, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), blood, lymph, nerve impulses and energy flow. The most amazing thing is that listening is all you mostly have to do to help, sometimes that is actually as much as some patients can absorb by way of treatment.

Our focus all this month is the Small Intestine, in all its wiggley wonderfulness. We're going to continue exploring it's components and their functions, how they all work together in the physical and energetic way, and how we can help that all along.

MARCH 2019 - FOCUS SMALL INTESTINE

Continuing with our year-long journey around the meridian system, we move from some wonderful sessions exploring the Heart into the Small Intestine. I've been looking into the area from the Western as well as the Eastern viewpoint and I've found, yet again, that the more you study the human body the less you find you know. Just when you thought you were getting your head round something a whole new level of complexity pops up... The surprising things to me are not that it sometimes functions poorly here and there, but that such a complicated phenomenon ever works at all, let alone reproduces itself from a couple of cells (and has the code to do that in all of its 35 trillion cells, except for red blood cells).
