Remote Work

Working remotely with patients and groups has got to be one of the most extraordinary things I've ever found myself doing, and it just keeps on getting more and more interesting...

HOW IT ALL STARTED
I started giving remote treatments when I was travelling on my eco-adventures, 2010 to 2017, and wanted to keep in touch with patients and friends. I'd always got on well with working this way the few times I had tried it before then. Don't ask me how it works, maybe science will catch up with us one day - until then I'm happy just to continue to explore the wonderful world.

MY WAY OF WORKING REMOTELY
I work through a surrogate combining the techniques of Craniosacral Therapy with Energy Work based on Chi Kung. It's really developing into something of its own, Cranial Energy Work maybe. To me, Craniosacral Therapy has always bridged the worlds of hands-on, structural work and human energy field work. It's so gentle that there is often no physical force involved in a technique, just focused intention. It's already often used successfully in combination with other energy treatments, eg Acupuncture, and I combine it with my understanding of Chi Kung and other therapies, working with many different levels and subtle rhythms within our extraordinary energy bodies.
I find some aspects of energy work are actually easier when working over distance. For example, it's easier to switch levels of scale remotely and work with the whole body and surrounding energy fields at one moment, then perhaps focus on a minute restriction within a cranial junction. And of course it saves all the bother of travel...

Many people receive help with their health concerns through joining in with the remote group Craniosacral Energy treatment sessions I host through Facebook on most Wednesdays: Free Remote CranioSacral Energy Treatments. They make a good addition to hands-on treatment or to remote one-to-one treatment.
